It doesn't take much to convince Zoë to sit down with her center of gravity being off as much as it is. And the chairs in Club Library have always been the most comfortable.
"You can be proud of it," she says as she sinks into a chair and flexes her toes under the table. "You trained, and practiced, and you were the faster one." That's what it comes down to, really. It might be a bit cold to boil it down to that, but Zoë's been a Spade long enough to become jaded by martial challenges. It's the norm in her Suit, after all, for all that she doesn't gravitate towards them herself.
"That doesn't mean you can't regret that someone got hurt," she says, lacing her fingers over her stomach. "It's possible to be both."
