It isn't so much that she smiles. It's more that something lightens across her entire being, which leaves space for her features to brighten.

"...you did?"

There's something oddly reassuring in know her aunt had held her as a baby to fight back this sort of uncertainty. It added to the safety of holding onto her aunt now.
