Getting a smile always set well in her spine. Getting actual praise from someone she respected always helped lift her chin a little. And getting invited into Ethan's office for a bit, even in disruption of her plans for the afternoon, always had Eileen turning easily to find herself a chair.
Her fingers did linger on the door slightly today. Her feet did move a bit more slowly and methodically. Her hands did reach briefly first to simple clutch against the back of the chair opposite. But the underlying impulse to get herself settled across from Ethan came loud and clear.
"...smaller, at first." There was surely no need to puff with Ethan. "And now-- different, mostly. More than I expected it to."
